Description:

Group portrait of the Amoskeag Textile Club Baseball Team in uniform. Thirteen players and the manager, two players sit on the ground each holding a baseball glove, between them on the ground lay the catchers chest protector, mask, and glove with ball. Seven men sit on a bench, the man in the center crosses two bats between his legs behind the catchers equipment. Four players stand behind the seated players with the manager who wears a dark suit and hat stands in the center. The photograph was taken along the first base side of a baseball field, several players can be seen on the field. In the background to the left two boys watch the teams photograph being taken, beyond homes are visible on the left and industrial buildings on the right. Variant image see AMCGN 0910.
