- Image largely obscured by emulsion damage and what appears to be perhaps a bad exposure - very dark as though under a mask or veil. In the foreground are some trees and rocks, perhaps even fallen/dead trees, and in the middle- and background appears to be a small body of water, as though down in a valley, and more trees rising to hills/mountains. The sky takes up 1/4-1/3 of the image.
- Provenance:
- Glass plate negatives were delivered to the Museum in their orginal wooden crates. The crates were stamped "T.E.M. White North Conway NH."
