Negative, Glass Plate
- Title:
- House and Garden
- Date:
- 1890-1909
- Dimensions:
- Print Size: 8.5 x 6.5
- Description:
- This image is a closer view of Object ID MWM2010.0001.2916. The patch of crops is not visible as in the other image, but the tall flowers closer to the house dominate the foreground. The house is the left-most part of the middle ground of the image. A hill or mountain rises beyond the house and there are clouds in the sky. To the right of the house stand the man and woman from the previous image, partially obscured by the growth of the flowers in the garden, he with his hat and she with her apron. He is holding a bunch of flowers, and she is holding a hat. There are two other women, wearing dresses and hats, close to the house and partially obscured by the growth of the flowers. Standing before the center of the house and also partially obscured is a man who appears to be older, with a hat similar to the other man's. He is wearing a suit.
