- Description:
- Image is dominated by the top of a large boulder or rock-topped hill in the left of the foreground and a forest in the fore- and middlegrounds. There are a few birch trees just beyond the boulder. In the right of the middleground is a cleared area in the trees, and in the background a cleared strip of land with some houses and buildings is visible. Beyond that, a range of many mountains rises to the sky.
- Provenance:
- Glass plate negatives were delivered to the Museum in their orginal wooden crates. The crates were stamped "T.E.M. White North Conway NH."
