In the background a tree and what may be water are visible. This may be a set background from the photographer's studio. This image may have been taken in North Conway, where White had his studio.

- Glass plate negatives were delivered to the Museum in their orginal wooden crates. The crates were stamped "T.E.M. White North Conway NH."
